Following up the "Maison & Objet" show in January this year, MAXRAY will put its Europe-destined products on display in the Sfera Showroom in Milano, Italy, while the Salone Internazionale del Mobile is held in the same city. The products on view look simple in design, yet sensitive and distinctive at once, and send out "LIGHT" in the classical, sophisticated and delicate Japanese way to the world.

We provide updated information on light from various perspectives.
Presented therein are approaches to lighting from a broad range of viewpoints because our lighting professionals focus on relations between light, townscape, nature and culture.
"Landscape Lighting" is featured in its first issue (Issue 01) to shed light on urban lighting closely woven with people's lifestyles. Looking at future illumination, we try to rediscover Japanese sensitiveness and techniques and research the lighting potentials from Japan. In addition, designer concepts and messages are reported, which fashion novel forms using thinned wood. Among others, we introduce a lineup of new compact downlight fixtures with the standard recess diameter of 85 mm.

Maxray has started publishing their new source of information, the Lightry Magazine.
It looks at light from a variety of perspectives: people, towns, nature, and culture.
The first issue's theme is "Japan's Light will be...". It looks out how light will evolve with the delicate sensibilities of Japan helping it along. The feature report is about stage lighting in Kabuki theaters, showing how technology has developed in a traditional art. There are also articles about LEDs, lighting examples, product designs, event news. It lets you look Maxray Design from a wide range of views.
